After twelve years of work and a beautiful journey creating for well-known international brands, Marta Cortese felt the need to fully express herself and take a new step: launching her own brand, Aurora.
She wanted to explore her own ideas, colors and vision. Aurora is intimately linked to Marta's neighborhood in Turin, an area between the city center and the suburbs, with its contrasts - some parts vibrant, others still rough - but, above all, the first place where she truly felt at home.
Working in the textile world for many years, the heart of her practice has always been people: the artisans she works with, the collaborators she creates with, and the customers who welcome her pieces into their homes. Their taste, their appreciation, and their sensibility remain essential to her creative process. Each drawing is a new proposal - a way to offer something meaningful, thoughtful and aesthetically inspiring, guided by a simple credo - work should be a pleasure, nourishing and inspiring.
